Spoiler: Season 3 Episode 59
Did Sendai Colony feel like a fever dream to anyone else?
It was released March 26, 2026 on crunchyroll and I haven’t stopped thinking about it. It’s just been living in my mind rent free. That being said, if you haven’t watched it you are missing out. Be warned though, you might come out screaming about how we can’t have nice things.
The episode follows a fight between Yuta, 1 cursed spirit, and 2 reincarnated sorcerers. Let’s just say when bro entered the colony he completely disrupted an agreement the top 4 players had. Especially when he defeated Dhruv who was another reincarnated sorcerer that seemed to have Kurourushi (the cursed spirit) on lock down.
Kurourushi was a literal cockroach that came out of hibernation because he was now in a state of starvation.

With the rules that needed to be added. To establish a way to communicate, along with gaining entry and exit within the colonies. Certain players were likely to outright use wide range attacks on non-sorcerers if they had the chance.
So they had to be eliminated.
Yuta had gone in ready to fight and take on the burdens that were not his to bear. Having the mindset of…
“I alone, will get those 400 points”.
– Yuta
Oh and before I get any question on who should carry those burdens. No one should, but that is not how the Jujutsu world works… It would go on Gojo, but he had already been sealed and had been accused by the school for being an accomplice. Then Yuta is their next pick because he is a special grade, or all on Yuji himself and we all know what that entails.
Though Yuta was also asked by Gojo to watch after the other students. If you don’t remember it is in Season 3 Episode 49.
The fight had now started and Yuta immediately knew that he had to be careful how he played things. The other two sorcerers were watching from a distance. Okkotsu had to be careful with what he revealed. He knew he would be able to exorcise Kurourushi though.
He just couldn’t use his reverse curse technique nor could he call on Rika.
Now this man was fighting swarms of cockroaches.
Honestly I could never. I freak out over just one, let alone a whole swarm. I would for sure die.
Yuta prevailed. He was able to fend them off, instead of being shredded into pieces. Kurourushi was able to gain the upper hand though. Causing a diversion to sneak up behind him. Where he could slash Okkotsu, while his “minions” were crawling their way out of his shoulder. Damn near strangling Yuta or so we thought.

Yuta goes grabbing at Kurourushi’s face and ends up being lip locked.
Ayo, Bro’s kissing a cockroach.
This was not on my Jujutsu Kiasen bingo card, but okay we are going with it.
Yuta was really infusing him with his reverse curse technique. Then everything goes quiet until Kurourushi is filled to the point where he explodes because of the amount of positive energy. He was dead and Okkotsu had gained 5 more points.
By this point I had realized that we didn’t get an opening. Which not gonna lie kind of freaked me out because last time this happened we had the Shaduya Incident. I needed to take a minute and prepare myself for what else could happen in this episode.
When all of a sudden a woman materializes out of thin air, shattering the freaking sky, and blasting Yuta across the city. This right here was exactly what he was trying to avoid.

This is Uro Takako.
A reincarnated sorcerer that had taken Kenjaku’s offer, in hopes for a chance at a second life. Girly also has such an interesting technique and she doesn’t take her time telling and showing us how it works. (Which later helps Yuta).
She can manipulate the sky as if it was a surface.
Uro is also a short tempered person, but also Yuta didn’t really help. He started rage baiting her in the middle of her explaining shit to him. Acting as if reincarnation was just another thing, and wondering about her personal life. If she had friends or a lover and understanding if she didn’t. Just hunting for things that would trigger her. Even asking….
“How many have to die until you finally feel avenged”.
– Yuta
That was the last straw. Claiming that Yuta was a part of the fujiwara family.
Launching her and Yuta forward through the sky. Stretching his arms so he couldn’t use them and strangling him. Until they were interrupted.

We get introduced to Ryu Ishigori
The other reincarnated sorcerer. Now he didn’t exactly view this as a second life. Viewing it more as a chance to get the fulfillment he needed. His first life wasn’t terrible and the people he fought were okay. He uses a bakery metaphor to describe his feelings.
He always thought it was disappointing when the bakeries would be empty at the end of the day. Wanting to see it full instead. The empty bakery represents the ones who put up an okay fight. When it’s full it represents the ones who fought a great fight.
Ryu was just unsatisfied.
He had never had dessert.
Then we see his technique where a blast of cursed energy comes from his hair cannon.
Yuta even grabs a clothing robe to help deflect the blast. Even though it had melted in half because the blast had become more intense.
I also don’t think it was the best idea to follow Ryu into a train tunnel. Bro had literally burned a whole side of the tunnel. So much that his hair got overheated leaving him open and vulnerable.

I know it wasn’t going to be that easy to take him down because he was already flipping over the train as Yuta was throwing it at him. This is where Ishigori had realized Okkotsu may be the one to fulfill him. The one that will give him a run for his money.
Honestly I believed it too because Yuta basically had punched through one of Ryu’s blasts. Then getting launched right into the sky where Uro was waiting for him.
She didn’t strike the people, it was the surface of the sky.
She froze him mid air, broke the sky as if it was glass, and sent Yuta speeding into a building. Ryu then shot cursed energy towards Uro. It of course didn’t go as planned though because she redirected it to shoot right back at him.

Uro Takako became the first person to strike Ryu Ishigori with his own technique.
Their agreement was now completely void.
At this point they thought Yuta Okkotsu was running out of fuel. Honestly he was, with all the fighting and having to use reverse curse technique to constantly heal himself. Well until he called on the one person that always had his back.
All of a sudden flowing with cursed energy again.
Rika Orimoto
Who is now a fully manifested shikigami. She is the official stock pile of cursed energy along with being the externalization of Okkotsu’s technique. Though there is a catch to it. He gains the complete manifestation of Rika, along with cursed energy, and the cursed tools she provides. The only problem is….
5 minutes is all the time he has.

Meaning bro has to defeat two reincarnated sorcerers in that time. Or at least on the brinks.
Rika goes after Uro first so Yuta can have an opening to use cursed speech. Then when she is unable to move. They both attack head on, while the force of them throws her to the ground. Then Yuta’s plowing over Ryu after punching through a hair blast again.
Then it is hand to hand to hand combat.
Staying steady with a ground that’s moving like rippled waves.
Dodging and weaving through the infamous hair blast.
Rika’s also throwing punches. Uro sidesteps one and Yuta wrongfully gets hit. Which is taken personally because she will go after anyone who hurts her man. Therefore the logic was it was 100% Takako’s fault.
This is where Uro realizes Okkotsu’s technique is copy. By using Drhuv’s abilities. Which makes the path of his shikigami into his domain which will cut into anything it touches.
Which is almost the most unfair technique I have ever heard. I thought this when we first learned about it. Could you even imagine the possibilities you have with using copy? Let alone going against a person that has that ability? I would honestly and simply just give up. And don’t let them be a special grade.
Ryu and Rika then appear. She’s thrown to the side.. He beats on his chest like a warning…. And then one thing no one was ready for happens.

!!!! DOMAIN EXPANSION !!!!
Omg a 3 WAY
A once in a lifetime event.. 3 sorcerers, 3 domains, only 1 can be the winner. All fighting to prove something.
Then the black devil of the modern age flew into the barrier. Kurourushi was still alive as a cursed spirit. Also the 3 domains were keeping them all in check, but the intrusion was so unexpected it caused the barrier to break.
That damn Cockroach had to go and ruin everything.
THIS IS THE EXACT REASONS WHY WE CAN’T HAVE NICE THINGS.

Yuta attacks Uro from behind, kicking her to Kurourushi. He went after her, cutting her arm off, to which it went flying into Rika’s mouth. Eating her arm like it is an evening snack. Ryu then takes her out of the fight completely by blasting her with cursed energy. She proved to be the weakest by not being able to use her technique right after using her domain expansion.
Kurourushi then was exorcised by Yuta.
Now there were two.
Yuta’s able to discharge a crazy amount of curse energy when Rika is fully manifested. That being said, he was going to release it before Ryu reached his maximum output. But when Ishigori’s intense gaze locked onto Okkotsu, it melted his heart.
400 years of longing for the right person to fulfill his hunger.
Okkotsu was going to feed into his desires for just a few more minutes. The blast collided, forming beautiful blues and purples in the air. The first blast was to set the stage. Yuta’s second came from Rika herself, distracting Ryu so he could attack from the side.

Ishigori then uses “Granite Blast” which looks like his strongest yet.
Yuta though was prepared. Pulling out Uro’s technique to redirect the path of the granite blast. He sent it right into the sky. This is when Ryu finally realizes that Okkotsu’s technique is copy. Then proceeds to go through everything that just happened to figure out what he had to do to satisfy the conditions. Realizing when Rika ate her arm is when those conditions had been met.
Stunned and his guard being down. Rika brings her fist down onto his head while Yuta uses break glass on his stomach.
But… Before they could even completely finish those moves…
The timer had run out.
Ryu looking every bit crazy and psycho had then realized there is just a little more after going all out. This was what he needed to be fulfilled.
Then Yuta catches him in the exact spot for Granite blast to come right down onto him.

Ryu Ishigori was down.
Yuta let both Uro and Ryu live. Which was only to use them to gain even more points because of the one rule where players are able to exchange points amongst themselves. So this whole time bro was just hoping that they would give him their point. Not even know if they would or just try to kill him again.
Both reincarnated sorcerers didn’t try killing Yuta again, but both pointed out he had nothing to gain from killing them.
Though who knows in a different timeline they could fight again and Yuta could kill them or vice versa.
Ryu Ishigori and Uro Takako had transferred their points.
Yuta left with 190 points.

At the end we get Uro’s thoughts. She thinks that Yuta would be the one to reach his limits, seeing what the same overwhelming aggression can do to a sorcerer or curse. That will eventually destroy them. She had seen it with many other sorcerers.
What is the part that shocked you more in the Sendai Colony?
If you don’t understand what is happening in the Culling Games OT has broken down and taken all the notes so you don’t have to.
To catch up on Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3 you can watch on Crunchyroll.

Sendai Colony was basically Gege saying ‘what if we made Yuta fight the entire unemployment line of ancient sorcerers at once? 😂😂😂
No literally 😭
